We are cheesemongers with a passion for artisanal and farmstead cheese. We believe in supporting our local and international makers striving to produce food that benefits the people and the land. In addition to offering the highest quality cheese, we also stock a finely curated selection of charcuterie, condiments, and dry goods to bring your pairing experience to the next level. Meet Carol

A reformed line cook and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY Carol Johnson has been working in kitchens since she was 16.

After a cheese making apprenticeship in NM she moved to NYC. While working as a cheesemonger she became an American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional (ACS CCP), was assistant manager at Murray’s Cheese flagship store in the West Village, and competed and placed twice in the Cheesemonger Invitational.

Carol is delighted to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning her own space where she can share her love of cheese with her Greenpoint neighbours and the greater NYC community.
